Participants will develop science literacy while learning the basic concepts of electricity: conductors, insulators, circuits, power sources, and power loads.
Cool Circuits is a logic puzzle game that enables participants to develop their understanding of electrical circuits while solving puzzles.
Participants will use different combinations of "littleBits" parts to create simple electronics, first with just the three bits provided and then with multiple bits from the kit.
Participants will work with the program facilitator to practice organizing materials into a logical formation creating a controller for the Makey Makey Piano Remix on Scratch MIT’s website.
This program is for children aged 10 and older.
STEAM programs incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
