Build with Contraptions

Explore basic scientific concepts such as gravity, momentum, actions and reactions, and simple structures.
Marble run is a set of building blocks and rails that can be used to create contraptions through which a marble will run. Using accelerator ramps, drop through building blocks, arches, spiral twists, and straight track pieces participants will engage in challenges to create contraptions of increasing complexity to complete their marble run.
Create-a-Chain Reaction is a set of building materials that enable participants to learn firsthand how STEM concepts such as gravity, force and momentum can create a chain reaction. This set allows participants to build each type of contraption: ramp, topple, hammer, pusher, seesaw, zip line, drop kick, elevator and auto tilt. from scratch!
This program is for children ages 8 and over.
Registration is required.
