En Plein Air - Arts & Science
Summer Reading Challenge
Saturday, July 18
1:00pm - 2:00pm
Join us outdoors for an art lesson on observation and a science lesson on physical reactions!
En plein air literally translates to "in the open air", typically used by painters doing scenery. Join us outdoors for a lesson in observation and then use those skills to observe the nature around us and translate it to paper with pencil, pencil crayon, pastels, or crayon.
As this program takes place outside, wear appropriate attire such as hats or sunglasses, apply sunscreen, and be mindful of traffic at all times. All supplies are provided.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
