Listen to a story, feel inspired, then create your own puffy chalk paint and art!
Read “The Book of Mistakes” by Corinna Luyken, a book where readers see the ways in which 'mistakes' can provide inspiration and opportunity. Make a piece of chalk art on paper, then create your own puffy 'chalk' paint and test your skills with drawing on the concrete behind the library. This program is designed for beginners. All materials will be provided.
This program will focus on creating while incorporating elements of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
