Summer Reading Challenge

Explore the backyard garden and nature by building a miniature garden plot and playing games
Today we will build our own miniature backyard garden container, complete with tiny house and picket fence, and will learn how to plant seeds, and how a seed becomes a fully grown plant. Participants will also be sent on a scavenger hunt around the library to discover and collect items that can be found in the backyard and garden. There may be other garden-inspired activity stations, if time permits.
Recommended age: 6-12
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
