Fabulous Fibonacci!
Summer Reading Challenge
Thursday, July 30
6:30pm - 7:30pm
Who was Fibonacci and why does his "sequence" matter to us? Come and find out!
The Fibonacci sequence helps children understand that mathematics is not just a school subject but a "universal language" that shapes the real world—from the spirals in pinecones and sunflowers, to the formation of galaxies. Exploring Fibonacci spirals, children can see the harmony between math, art, and nature.
Create a beautiful bouquet of "Fibonacci flowers", or a "Fib" poem.
This program is recommended for children ages 6-12.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Registration is required.
