Explore centripetal force and gravity by building a sand pendulum..
This week, we will build pendulums that will throw sand down in their path to help us explore the concepts of gravity, tension, and centripetal force. While exploring these concepts, we will also create and observe beautiful art as a by-product of the swinging pendulum experiments.
Recommended ages: 7-12
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
