Sexual assault is an issue that many of us hear about but many may not fully understand the magnitude of the issue. Sexual assault can affect anyone, although it is often depicted as something that only affects females. This session will define sexual assault and explore its effects on survivors, friends and family, and society. Healthy relationships and what consent is and why it is important with also be discussed. Finally, learn about what resources are available in Lambton County for sexual assault survivors and their families.
This will be a 45 minute presentation + 15 minute Q&A.
