Cloud spotters and nephophiles unite for an afternoon exploring clouds up in the sky and on the ground!
Do you ever gaze at the sky and think that you spot a whale swimming through the large cotton candy clouds or swirling waves ribboning through the thin, wispy ones? Do you know that these different types of clouds have different names and bring different types of weather? Participants will gather and learn about the types of clouds that float above us in the sky, what they predict about our weather on the ground, and will use their imagination to spot creatures and shapes in the wild blue yonder! Back on earth, they will make cloud art in the library, and there may even be a couple of fluffy surprises!
Recommended for ages 7-12
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
