Enjoy the magic of summer fireflies at this event for the whole family. Participate in a hike guided by the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority and watch out for the glow of fireflies.
This event will be held at Lorne C. Henderson Conservation Area (just outside of Petrolia @ 3653 Petrolia Line). Upon entering the park, please proceed down the laneway, and past the Gatehouse. Please park in the parking lot on the left hand side, just past the Gatehouse. Please meet at the Education Building (near the pool), a 2 minute walk from the parking area.
Through the lands they manage and own, as well as the educational programs they deliver, the SCRCA provides opportunities for citizens to understand and appreciate the value of their natural environment as well as the social and economic benefits of protecting that environment.
During summer months mosquitoes may be present in wooded areas. All attendees should be prepared to encounter mosquitoes at this event.
