Explore the night sky at the Oil Museum of Canada with the Royal Astronomical Society's Sarnia Chapter and discover stars, planets, constellations, and more!
Member's of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada's Sarnia Chapter will have telescopes, binoculars, and astrophotography equipment and will help attendees view night sky objects.
Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and spend two hours looking at the night sky, or just stop by for a portion of the evening.
This will be a low light event to reduce light pollution and increase the ability to view deep space objects. Attendees should be prepared to navigate the grounds in low light.
In the event of poor weather or overcast skies, this event will be reschedule to August 8.
