Participants will rotate through three guided STEAM activities designed to teach concepts of motion, structural engineering, and color separation.
We will be completing 3 different activities during this program.
• The first activity explores aerodynamics through building and testing straw rockets powered by human breath.
• The second activity introduces engineering principles through constructing craft-stick bridges and testing their stability using lightweight, reusable objects such as paper clips, small figurines, or counting cubes.
• The third activity uses chromatography to separate colors from washable markers on coffee filters, resulting in colorful STEAM art.
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Registration is required.
