Explore coding by taking your Ozobot pet through its paces in the First Annual Port Lambton Library Ozobot Pet Show!
Participants will learn the basics of coding without using a screen. They will understand how exactly codes need to be written in order for computers or robots to follow them, including the thickness, wideness, order of colours, and darkness of colours, which will give them the building blocks for more advanced coding.
Once they have learned how to draw Ozobot lines and codes one step at a time, they will animate their pet through a trip around the pet show ring using paths and a minimum of six Ozocodes. They will choose codes that correspond with different actions to show what their pet can do, including a “signature trick” and will, draw a pathway on a story map with pictures to make the Ozobot show ring experience come to life. Will your Ozobot robopet have what it takes to be awarded Best in Show?
