This surreal drama is set in New York City and Carrey stars as Truman Burbank, an insurance adjuster who is the most famous face on television, only he doesn't know it. He is the unwitting star of a nonstop, 24-hour-a-day documentary soap opera. Every moment of his life has been filmed by hidden cameras and broadcast to worldwide audiences. His friends, his family, and everyone around him is an actor. He is a prisoner in a made-for-TV paradise, and this is the story of his escape.

The Sarnia Library houses a 306-seat accessible theatre. Up to nine seats can be removed to accommodate barrier free seats.
The theatre is equipped with LED lighting along aisles, wall sconces and ceiling, sound equipment, projection screen, stage, lobby area with servery and barrier free washrooms.
