You can use your newfound skills to design a book cover for our Book Cover Design Contest. Reimagine the cover of your favourite book using any art medium you choose and drop your original artwork off at any library location by September 2, 2023.
The contest will be open to children from ages 5–12, and the covers will be juried in two age categories: 5–8 and 9–12.
One grand prize winner will be selected from each age group, and two additional runners up from each age category.
The two grand prize winners will win an art kit, and the four runners up will receive a book prize pack with age-appropriate books featuring illustrations from artists featured in the exhibit.
