Show your creativity as you learn the basic stitches needed to crochet your own projects during this 7-week series.
This will be a series with skills building on each other each week. Participants will learn the basic crochet stitches needed to make projects.
Participants will learn how to old the hook and yarn, create a slip knot, yarn over, begin making foundation chains, then they will move on to stitches such as single crochet, half-double crochet, magic circle, slip stitch, double crochet, etc. We will cover how to read a pattern and the importance of making gauge swatches.
Possible projects created will be: Bookmark, Worry worm, Mug rug, Water botte holder. The exact schedule of learning and projects created with be determined by the experience of the participants.
All materials will be provided.
