Ice Cube Painting

Explore the phase transition of solids to liquids while creating a unique painting with ice cubes.

This program focuses on the science of matter and their states as well as art by using coloured ice cubes to paint a picture. This experiment will involve hypothesizing, attempting, and observing to see how quickly ice melts when introduced to varied, naturally occurring heat sources.

STEAM programs incorporate science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Registration is required. 

This program is designed for children ages 5 to 8 years old. 

Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
