Makerspace Workshop
Thursday, September 03
2:00pm - 3:00pm
Receive one-on-one training on Makerspace equipment at Sarnia Library.
Choose to be trained on the 3D Printer, Laser Cutter, Silhouette Cutter, or Sewing Machine. Once trained you will be able to book time for independent use on the equipment.
Makerspaces are collections of resources: they are spaces filled with technologies, tools and toys, 3D printers, laser cutters and robotics. The idea behind makerspaces is simple: they are places where people come together to learn about technology, crafts and other kinds of making; to share knowledge and skills with others; and to apply this knowledge and skill by creating things.
Registration is required.
Please note:
Space is limited. To help us prepare seating, supplies, and accessibility accommodations, please ensure your registration reflects the total number of people attending, including caregivers, support workers, parents, or additional family members.
The library is committed to providing accessible information and services and, to do so, follows the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its internal accessibility plans and policies. If you require accessibility accommodations or support to participate in this program, please contact the library in advance. While we will make every reasonable effort to support accessibility needs, accommodations may vary depending on the program, location, and available resources.
