For July's meeting, the challenge is: Hot Off the Press! Write your entry as quickly as you can and without extensive editing. There is no hard-and-fast word count limit, in the interest of allowing you to write quickly, though try to keep entries reasonably brief. The challenge is to capture your initial impression of the prompt in its raw form. The prompt will be provided (and the entries submitted) at the meeting.
Entries must be family-friendly, but feel free to interpret the prompt however you like—write in any genre, style, or mode, express your creativity, and have fun.
