"Sisters of Choice" is a trio of friends whose tight-knit harmonies are reminiscent of the Andrews Sisters. Rhythms of Lambton celebrates music from Lambton in a wide variety of musical styles.
"Sisters of Choice" perform songs from the 40s to the 70s, featuring favourites like: Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, That’ll Be The Day, Mr Sandman, One Fine Day, Fire and Rain, etc. and are backed by their own recorded accompaniment.
Between soft romantic melodies and toe-tapping vintage rock n’ roll songs, they provide interesting facts about the songs and crowd-pleasing “groaner” jokes. As the style of music and time period change, so do the outfits and accessories the ladies wear. They move seamlessly, from one song to the next, keeping everyone involved and entertained.
Just like many of the performers from previous eras, they add synchronized choreography to some of their songs using original dance moves and a bit of their own style.
You can see the energy and joy they bring to each performance; they are enthusiastic entertainers who love what they do and their audiences love them!
