Join celebrated Canadian author and paddling expert Kevin Callan—also known as “The Happy Camper”—for an engaging and entertaining presentation on canoeing, camping, and life in the great outdoors.
Known for his humour, storytelling, and practical expertise, Kevin will share highlights from his many wilderness adventures, along with tips and insights to help both new and experienced campers make the most of their time outside.
Whether you’re dreaming of your first trip or are a seasoned paddler, this talk will inspire you to explore, connect with nature, and embrace the unexpected moments that come with outdoor travel.
Copies of Kevin Callan’s books will be available for purchase following the presentation, with an opportunity to meet the author and have your book signed.

About the author:
Kevin (aka The Happy Camper) is the author of 18 books and an award winning writer and a keynote speaker at outdoor events across North America. Kevin is also a regular guest on several television morning shows and CBC Radio. He has won several film awards, writes a column for Paddling Magazine and Explore Magazine. Kevin was listed one of the top 100 modern day explorers by the Canadian Geographical Society. He was also made Patron Paddler for Paddle Canada. Sarnia Library Theatre
The Sarnia Library houses a 306-seat accessible theatre. Up to nine seats can be removed to accommodate barrier free seats.
The theatre is equipped with LED lighting along aisles, wall sconces and ceiling, sound equipment, projection screen, stage, lobby area with servery and barrier free washrooms.
