A series of 9 workshops to create Fall themed crafts. Open to participants of all skill levels. Adults and Teens.

Autumn Workshop

A series of colourful Autumn creations.

Leaves are falling, autumn is calling. The changing leaves, the crispness in the air, the anticipation of Halloween, and the bounty of the fall harvest season provide wonderful inspiration for making things. This workshop will gather 9 days of Autumn to celebrate Fall Colors. Recommended age 13 to adult. This program will provide a social connection for participants who will work alongside other people with similar interests.

SEPT 19 – Dried Hydrangea Wreath - Now's the time of year to build a hydrangea wreath using hydrangeas that are beginning to turn crispy and they'll dry further on the wreath. You can create your own dried hydrangea wreath in 5 simple steps and before you know it, you’ll be hanging it from your front door for all the neighborhood to see.

SEPT 26 – Hand Stitched Felt Coffee Sleeve. These DIY felt coffee sleeves are perfect for those chilly fall days. Not only do they keep your hands warm, but they also add a touch of style to your cup of joe. Made from felt and embroidery floss/yarn, these are very easy to make.

SEPT 30 - Make a Leaf Bowl. As the days grow shorter and the shadows grow longer, if you are anything like me, you will return home from crisp, sunny walks with huge bunches of beautifully coloured leaves. Bring them along to the library today for this leaf bowl project. It is a lovely way to preserve and use them!

OCT 7 - Feathered Pinecone Turkeys. These quirky, personality-filled turkey pine cones are a blast.

OCT 10 - Twine Pumpkins. With a few simple supplies transform a spool of twine, into a pair of pumpkins sure to fit in any Autumn home décor. 

OCT 17 - Mixed Media Leaf Collage ART. Is created using various media along with collected fall leaves to create a unique fall leaf artwork.

OCT 24 - Autumn Leaf Rubbing ART. Leaf rubbing art is traditionally a kid art project, but the look is perfect for all kinds of Adult fall crafts. You can create leaf-rubbing art to relax and enjoy blending colors or you can create the art to use in a number of other projects.

OCT 28- 3D Paper Pumpkin Craft. An ALL-AGES simple craft. These pumpkins are a great way to both decorate and display a festive craft

OCT 31 - Pinecone Halloween Friends. Take Halloween crafting to a new level with these adorable "costumed" pine cone friends.
