May 2 - Cotton Stems - Decorating with cotton branches can be really easy! If you are looking for some farmhouse decor to add to your home this is a perfect way. Save money making these yourself, and they are biodegradable.
May 9 - Feather Wall Hanging - A young-at-heart approach to a dream catcher alternative. A simple feather wall hanging is a gorgeous way to bring boho-chic style to your space. It’s perfect for summer decor, and it’s also super easy to make!
May 13 - Framed Branch Art - A handmade work for rustic style. It can also be a gift inspired by nature. It´s a unique artwork that brings personality and distinction that you won't find in the usual shops.
May 16 - Leaf-Imprinted Clay Necklace - Nature is so beautiful. Create nature-inspired jewelry, with an easy technique that you can implement really inexpensively with some polymer clay and leaves.
May 20 - Minimalist Framed Floating Leaves - If you’re a plant lover, you no doubt have plants in your home as elements of living decor for your space. This DIY tutorial will walk you through the process of making pressed leaf art to frame and hang on your walls to preserve the beauty of your plants in every room.
May 23 - DIY Round Wood Shelf Plant Hanger - not enough space for plants in front of the windows and the light they need.? Enter the hanging wood shelf. This little round wood slice plant shelf is a simple project.
May 27 - Nature Bookmark - gorgeous DIY dried and pressed flower/leaf bookmark!
May 30 - Stick Garden Plant marker - Plant markers, or garden markers, are a way to keep track of what you’ve planted and where. Instead of running around wondering what’s in each patch or planter, use one of these easy garden marker ideas to help you get your plants organized and add some charm to your green spaces!
JUNE
June 6 - Flying Butterflies - windup paper butterfly will flutter into your heart and make you want to create more! It is a perfect addition to a card or invitation or can be placed in a book for a neat surprise. This butterfly doesn’t take long to make and can be created in your own unique way to show off your style.
June 10 - Flower Pounding - This craft basically involves hitting flowers (or grass or leaves) with a hammer or rock to release their pigment onto paper. Create a unique artwork to celebrate summer.
June 13 - Flower Luminaries - This pressed flower craft is SO PRETTY! Make your own pressed flower lanterns that are beautiful, and really easy to put together! With a bit of mod podge and dried flowers you have a gorgeous candle holder that’s super inexpensive to make.
June 17 - Nature Journal – A fun, relaxing practice to help you connect more closely with nature, and results in the creation of your own unique nature journal. A journal allows you to capture the moment (at sunset, a view, a critter, a flower, a fungus…), and recall observations that would otherwise be forgotten.
JUNE 20 - Flower petal paper - Making paper is fun and easy to do! In the summer there are an abundance of wildflowers and gardens are in full bloom. We collect flower petals to add to your beautiful flower petal paper! With a few supplies and basic instructions, you’re making handmade paper.
June 24 - Painting/Printing with Flowers – dip in paint to print flower patterns. Do you have wilting flowers? Before tossing them away, why not try making some flower prints with them? Then, once the prints dry, they become personalized, springy stationary and mini works of art.
June 27 - Sea Shell Wind Chime - There are few sounds as hypnotic as the rustling of wind chimes. Wind chimes made with seashells have a particularly relaxing quality that instantly brings to mind breezy, carefree days at the beach. Now, you can feel like you're vacationing by the shore every day.
