"Winter Sports in Canada" is an all-ages program of short films from Canada's National Film Board about hockey, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing. The films begin with a short (11 minute) animation, "The Sweater" (1980), about a young boy receiving the wrong hockey sweater from Eaton's, followed by several short documentaries: "The Rink" (1962, 10 minutes), "La descente" (1975, 10 minutes), "The Joy of Winter" (1962, 15 minutes), and "Les raquetteurs" (1958, 15 minutes). "The Sweater" is in English, "Les raquetteurs" is in French with English subtitles, and the other films are wordless.
