Explore your creative side and learn about printmaking. This project with explore the process of image transferring using gel plates, rollers, stamps, and acrylic paint.

Printmaking is an artform that uses a variety of methods and mediums to create a template with which an image can be made. There are many different techniques of printmaking that can be organized into major types and even more sub-types. Four major types of printmaking are relief, intaglio, planography, and stencil (“graphic arts”).

Recommended for ages 6 to 12.
