Did you know that the Giant Sequoia can reach over 300 ft tall, the oldest tree in the world is a bristlecone pine, the rare Wollemi Pine has been around since the dinosaur ages and there is a sycamore that is about 8 ft wide in Alvinston? Trees don't just clean our air, they provide habitat for our fauna and shade for our houses.
Celebrate Earth Week, by learning about the wonderful world of trees, learning some of the unique trees around the world, as well as trees that are found locally.
