Join us to discuss William Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing. Set in Messina after Don Pedro's army returns from battle in victory, the play follows the courtship and scandal involving Hero and her suitor Claudio, as well as the witty war of words between Claudio's friend Benedick and Hero's cousin Beatrice. We will discuss the play itself, as well as its language, themes, relevance in our modern world, adaptations, and more.
