Stop by the library to enjoy afterschool activities. Themed, weekly activities are both educational and a great way to connect with peers. This week we will be create with Spirograph, a geometric drawing tool, used to make patterns using wheels, rings, and gears that fit together. Patterns can be single or more complex through layering patterns.
Spirograph are a unique way to learn mathematical concepts without even realizing it. This program will focus on creating while incorporating elements of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).
This program is recommended for children ages 8-12.
Children under 10 must have a caregiver present.
