Stop by the library to enjoy afterschool activities. Themed, weekly activities are both educational and a great way to connect with peers.
September 4 - Sunflowers: Learn about a sunflower and make a sunflower craft using coffee filters.
September 11 - Apples: Learn about harvesting apples as you create a themed, apple craft.
September 18 - Scarecrows: Learn about scarecrows and make a paper bag puppet for imaginary play.
September 25 - Corn: Discover the different types of corn that are used every day and make a beaded corn craft.
October 2 - Trees: Find out why our trees hibernate and complete a painted tree craft.
October 9 - Thankful Turkeys: Learn what gratitude is as you make a thankful craft and we will talk about things we are thankful for.
October 23 - Printmaking: Printmaking is the process of transferring an image from one medium to another. Using gel plates, rollers, stamps and acrylic paint, create your own unique artwork while discovering different methods of printmaking.
October 30 - Halloween Masks: Listen to spooky tales and make your own witchy mask, in time for Halloween.
This program is recommended for children ages 4-8 years.
