Enjoy weekly afterschool activities at the library.

Stop by the library to enjoy afterschool activities. Themed, weekly activities are both educational and a great way to connect with peers.

Sept 5 - Mosaic Names: Made popular in Ancient Rome, use patterns and colours to make your name into a beautiful work of art.

Sept 12 - Cardboard Construction: Get your imagination going as you build shapes and structures out of cardboard.

Sept 19 - Cardboard Construction: Complete building challenges using the materials provided.

Sept 26 - Sunflowers: Put together your own sunflower arrangement to take home and brighten your day!

Oct 3 - Turkey Gobbler: Create a noisy turkey that can "gobble"!  

Oct 10 - Spirographs: Use spirograph to learn about geometry as you turn patterns into designs and works of art. 

Oct 17 - Paper Bag Scarecrows: Design a scarecrow paperbag puppet for seasonal, imaginary play. 

Oct 24 - Build a Monster: Calling all Dr. Frankenstein's, build your own creation to celebrate the spooky season.

Oct 31 - Ghost Treat Bags: Stop by the library to create a ghoulish bag that you can stash your Halloween treats in! 

This program is recommended for children ages 6-10.

Children under 10 must have a caregiver present.
