Enjoy weekly programs traveling through time with stories and activities. This week's theme is cave art, learn about the picture stories Neanderthals left us to discover.
This week we will enter the paleolithic era to learn about the Neanderthals and their famous cave art. These drawings were often made with natural substances like charcoal, and were applied with their hands or simple tools. Using charcoal pencils and brown paper, we will create our own interpretations of this ancient artwork.
Recommended for ages 5 - 10. Children under 10 need a caregiver present.
