Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at this library style comic and fan convention!
Calling all cosplayers, gamers, comic book and pop culture fans! We invite you to join us for Library-Con at Forest Library on Free Comic Book Day! This fun-filled day will run similarly to a comic or pop culture convention, with opportunities to share your passion for the fan communities you are part of! This is an all-ages event.
Programming will include:
9:30am - 10:00am - Superhero Storytime
10:30am - 11:30am - Design your own Comic Strip
1:00pm - 2:00 pm - Ultimate Fan Trivia!
We will also have gaming stations with the Nintendo Switch, board games, the green screen, and of course - free comic books (limited supply available)!
We encourage you to cosplay and wear your favourite costumes for this event! As this is an all-ages event, no weapons or offensive language/imagery on costumes is permitted.
