Children can join certified therapy dog Tuck, for 1:1 reading sessions.
Join a therapy dog for reading sessions intended to boost self-confidence and a love of reading! Children will have 15 minutes of one-to-one reading time with Tuck, a certified children’s therapy dog from St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program. Participants can read from a selection of books provided by the library or bring a favorite book from home.
This program is intended for ages 6-12.
Registration is required. To allow for many participants to get a turn with Tuck, we ask that you register for only one 15 minute time slot. Thank you!
