Explore a dark chapter in Canadian history through a viewing of "Aftershock" followed by a question and answer period with filmmaker Dwayne Cloes.
Aftershock: The Second Generation Speaks
Learn about the trauma, abuse and long-term, multi-generational impact that residential schools had and continue to have on Canada’s indigenous people through a viewing of "Aftershock". The second generation of Residential School Survivors talk about what it was like being raised by parents that attended an Indian residential school. This documentary clearly shows that they did not have to go to a residential school to feel its effects. Filmed by Sarnia’s Dwayne Cloes.
